Climate Adaptation Consulting is supporting AGATE (Alpine Agency Territories) as part of the ARTACLIM project. The cross-border European project (Interreg ALCOTRA) aims to solve the problem of integrating strategies and adaptation responses in territorial planning. The ultimate goal is to enhance resilience in middle mountain regions.
The objective is to assess the different methods and practices that have been implemented so far in order to select and design better approaches and methodologies.
Our team’s mission:
- Elaborating an analytical framework to assess the different methods of co-construction of vulnerability assessment that have been tested in two Alpine territories (stakeholders ‘auditing, normative auditing, co-construction workshops, stakeholder map, systemic analysis…),
- Conducting a “feedback” workshop about the methods tested in the two Alpine territories, Haut-Chablais and Massif des Bauges,
- Proposing methodological recommendations for middle mountain communities willing to commit to climate adaptation.
