Our story

Climate Adaptation Consultinbegan with the meeting of two consultants sharing the same values and work ethic and resulting in a long-term relationship with their clients.

It is also the story of a fusion of complementary competencies – that enables us to provide a full service offering on adaptation – and a common enthusiasm for exploratory assessments.

Finally, it is the story of recognized professional efficiency in the world of adaptation and of personal enrichment along with projects, clients, and partnerships.

Our work process, as a team, is based on the systematic co-conception of methodologies that we apply and the co-implementation of projects: this approach provides real added value to our clients and quality to our projects.

Rachel Jouan Daniel - Climate Adaptation Conculting

After 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Rachel Jouan decided to dedicate her professional energy to a new career in the climate and environmental field. In 2010, she obtained a certificate in Decision Making for Climate Change and created Climate Adaptation Consulting.

For her, full-service climate change adaptation contributes to societal and environmental change. She dedicates her professional efforts to private and public clients, both in France and internationally, who desire to transition to more resilient models. She views the human dimension as a critical component for success: stakeholder involvement, collective thinking, and transition communication are some of the tools she uses.

Finally, she shares her project experiences with master’s degree students in political and environmental science programs and is a member of think-tank dedicated to political ecology.
